Walk
a Labyrinth created with natural materials. Experience a group Didgeridoo meditation. Transform the labyrinth into a collective Mandala. |
|||

|||
The labyrinth is defined as a "sacred pattern", an ancient mystical tool that can help us connect to the depths of our souls so we can remember who we are. Based on the circle, the universal symbol for unity and wholeness, the labyrinth takes the participants through a meandering but purposeful path, which acts as a metaphor for our journey through life. "The Labyrinth is a spiritual tool meant to awaken us to the deep rhythm that unites us to ourselves and to the Light that calls from within. In surrendering to the winding path, the soul finds healing and wholeness," Dr. Lauren Artress. The didgeridoo creates a universal tone that realigns, entrains and balances our energetic bodies, opening us up to a greater potential for healing and personal growth. Meditation is the most effective tool we have in directly reconnecting our mind with our body. The didgeridoo is one of the most effective meditation inducing instruments on the planet. A mandala is a sacred space, often a circle, which reveals some inner truth about yourself or the world around you. In Sanskrit, “mandala” means both circle and centre, implying that it represents both the visible world outside of us (the circle) and the invisible one deep inside our minds and bodies (the centre). |

Personal
Didgeridoo Reiki InFusion Sessions |
|||
The
Didgeridoo is a traditional wind instrument of the Australian
Aboriginals is used to enhance the mind, body and spirit. It has been
used in traditional Aboriginal ceremonies across northern Australia for
tens of thousands of years. The tone produced through the didgeridoo is
a natural equivalent to ultrasound waves, which have been proven to aid
in the relief of muscle spasm/knots, muscular/joint pain. |
|||
The
broad range of harmonics produced by the Didgeridoo range
0 – 1000 Hz. This stimulates Beta waves (13 – 40 Hz), Theta
waves (4 -7 Hz) and even Delta waves (0.5 – 3 Hz) during a session.
The Didgeridoo creates a universal tone that realigns and balances our energetic bodies. As the body absorbs the sound, vibration recharges and stimulates the nervous system, brain waves, blood circulation, endocrine glands and respiration. |

A mandala is a sacred space, often a circle, which reveals some inner truth about yourself or the world around you. In Sanskrit, “mandala” means both circle and centre, implying that it represents both the visible world outside of us (the circle) and the invisible one deep inside our minds and bodies (the centre). Carl Jung found the mandala -an ancient archetypal manifestation that appears in both Eastern and Western religions, mythology, and rituals -to be a powerful tool for growth, transformation, and a symbol of wholeness. He believed that mandalas created spontaneously in dreams or in waking life were unconscious attempts to heal one's inner self, to impose order on one's psyche. Creating a mandala is calming and centering and brings order to the chaos. The mandala, created in a circular form, has no beginning and no end; it is always continuing. Research shows that people feel safe and secure when working within a circle. |

| Poi Dancing, is a traditional Maori dance prop from New Zealand. This dance was used to honor the Maori females and as coordination training for the Maori warriors. Using poi is a form of "Brain Gym® ”. Brain Gym® develops the brain's neural pathways the way nature does – through movement. The process consits of physically crossing your arms and legs into geometrical designs which stimulate both hemispheres of your brain, creating harmonious thought patterns. Local artist, Audrya Corbett teaches the various techniques and transitions through a rhythmic dance to create a playful and expressive experience for dancers of all ages. |
